Steph Green is an Oscar nominated filmmaker and commercial director.

Steph’s work has been called “fresh” “unconventional” “powerful” “credible” and “sensitive” by Variety, Hollywood Reporter and Indiewire. She was selected as one of Creativity Magazine’s Top Directors to Watch and Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film. Steph’s first years in the industry were spent working as an assistant to directors such as Spike Jonze and Alan Poul (HBO). For her own short film and advertising work, Steph was the winner of an IFTA (Irish Film and Television Award), a Gold ICAD Bell from the Institute of Creative Advertising and Design, and was honored at Cannes Lions and Young Guns advertising festivals. Her spots were featured in Shoot Magazine and on Prior to its Academy Award nomination for best short, her film New Boy won accolades at over thirty film festivals worldwide, including Tribeca Film Festival and the Berlinale.

Her debut feature, Run & Jump, which was developed at the Sundance Institute’s Screenwriter’s Lab, stars Will Forte, Maxine Peake and Edward MacLiam. Variety describes Run & Jump as “irresistible to American and European audiences” for its “reserves of strength and joie de vivre” as well as its “remarkable warmth and immediacy”. Run & Jump was just picked up for North American distribution by IFC/Sundance Selects and will be released in early 2014.
