Grant Heslov's work has been praised across Film, TV and Commercials as a director, producer, writer, and actor. His comedic dry wit is admired in the film industry and has garnered a global following. He most notably has been recognized for his award-winning advertising campaigns with Nespresso, MasterCard., Mercedes, and Cigna. The latter received a Cannes Gold Lion, a Golden Clio, The One Show Gold Pencil and an LIAA Gold. A four-time Oscar nominee, Heslov received his latest Academy Award and a Best Picture win for producing the historical drama and thriller "Argo". Previously, Heslov has earned Oscar nominations for Best Adapted Screenplay for "The Ides of March," as well as "Good Night, and Good Luck," which were co-written with his creative partner George Clooney (Smokehouse Pictures). Heslov has also won a Writers Guild of America Award, as well as the PGA's Stanley Kramer Award. Heslov's critically acclaimed episodes of "Catch-22" for Hulu are magical, maddening, tender, and caustic in equal measure. Its upside-down logic confronts you with the beauty of life and the monstrousness of a war whose only objective is to snuff that beauty out at every opportunity. Heslov is currently wrapping production on the Showtime series "The Agency" in which he directed several episodes and co-produced the series with Clooney and David Glasser ( 101 Studios). Adding to creative endeavors, Grant recently co-wrote the Broadway play Good Night and Good Luck with Clooney which will open in 2025.
