Nicolas Entel is best known for the documentary Sins of My Father, which premiered at Sundance, and won at the Havana and Miami film festivals. Dubbed ‘a masterwork’ by Hollywood Reporter and “one of the great accomplishments in the history of television” by Literature Nobel Laureate Mario Vargas Llosa, it was originally acquired by HBO (US), Channel 4 (UK), Discovery Channel (LatAm) and Arte (Germany and France), and most recently by Netflix.
Picky Talarico spent a decade directing music videos for some of the most important artists in Latin America, including Juanes, Gustavo Cerati (Soda Stereo), Julio Iglesias, Nelly Furtado, Bajofondo, Chayanne, and Julieta Venegas, while accumulating numerous Latin Grammy and MTV award nominations.
Together they are Nico+Pix, one of the most thought after directing teams in the US Hispanic and Latin American markets. They specialize in story telling, vignettes, doc style / testimonials & celebrity driven spots -having most recently worked with, among others, Eugenio Derbez, Ricardo Arjona, Wisin, Gaby Moreno, Alex Rodriguez and Berto Colon. Their work for the likes of Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mc Donald’s, P&G and Dish has won multiple awards, including a Cannes Lion and a Grand Prix at FIAP.
Nico+Pix are also considered pioneers of the “Branded Content” movement, paving the way for a new wave of commercial content living beyond traditional broadcast outlets.
